The Kubarirwa & Bitete Family Association belongs to the Abajara clan, a respected sub-clan of the Abazigaba Bamungwe. Our identity is deeply rooted in our cultural heritage, which guides our values, traditions, and sense of belonging as a family.

Our clan upholds the Bushbuck (Engabi) as our taboo, a symbol we honor and protect as part of our cultural responsibility. We also proudly recognize the Leopard (Engwe) as our totem, holding it in the highest reverence. The leopard is regarded as our kin and protector, representing strength, courage, and guardianship within our clan. These cultural symbols continue to unite us and remind us of our shared ancestry and traditions.
